RealNetworks plans to give away a free game download every day as part of what newly-appointed games chief John Barbour said is a part of a new pricing structure designed to give customers "more ways to enjoy popular games."

The longtime leader of ZymoGenetics -- Seattle's biggest biotech company -- is stepping down on January 2.
