RealNetworks plans to give away a free game download every day as part of what newly-appointed games chief John Barbour said is a part of a new pricing structure designed to give customers "more ways to enjoy popular games."
Cequint's City ID mobile application gets some good press from David Pogue of The New York Times, though he wonders if $2 per month is too spendy for a product that shows where incoming calls are coming from.
The longtime leader of ZymoGenetics -- Seattle's biggest biotech company -- is stepping down on January 2. In a press release, outgoing CEO Bruce Carter said "it is sad to leave, but all organizations are invigorated by new blood." He will be replaced by president Douglas Williams, the former head of discovery research at Immunex.
