Amazon.com veterans have launched a bunch of startups over the years, including a new one called Twilio I profiled a couple weeks ago.
Now I'm hearing about another startup founded by an ex-Amazon employee, Brent Poole. It's called MindBloom. The company's website describes MindBloom as "a life game experience that inspires you to grow a little bit each day."
Poole, who worked with supply chain logistics at Amazon, did not immediately respond to an email message. A venture capitalist who heard an early pitch from the company described it as a "consumer web service around self-development in the Deepak Chopra vein."
MindBloom's bare-bones website contains few clues beyond a bit of text. It reads: "Take a walk, call someone, drink water, stretch -- simple actions that move us toward the life we want."
Washington state records indicate MindBloom was incorporated in March 2008 with Poole listed as president.
