Amazon.com's electronic book reader, the Kindle, may be sold out this holiday season.
But if you're planning to stay in a fancy boutique hotel in New York City, you may be in luck.
The Algonquin -- meeting place of the famous Round Table of writers and artists in the early 1900s (think Dorothy Parker, Harold Ross, Harpo Marx) -- is offering current guests a Kindle loaded with their favorite book.
The hotel's website touts the Kindle service as "in keeping with our rich literary tradition."
Engadget has more on the Algonquin Kindle service, adding: "If they don't have all seven volumes of Á la recherche du temps perdu loaded up and ready for us when we get there we're totally heading to the Holiday Inn."
