Brian McAndrews to kick off TechFlash speaker series

We're excited to announce that former aQuantive Chief Executive and outgoing Microsoft advertising executive Brian McAndrews will be the featured speaker at the TechFlash launch event January 22 in downtown Seattle. Named 2008 Executive of the Year by AdvertisingAge, McAndrews is a pioneer in the online advertising arena. He's best known for selling Seattle-based aQuantive to Microsoft for $6 billion, the largest acquisition in the software giant's history.
Obviously, we're thrilled to have Brian at our launch event, kicking off what we hope will be a truly unique speaker series for the Seattle tech community. We'll have a lot to chat about given the state of the online advertising industry. A lot of people also are wondering what the former ABC executive will do next now that he is stepping down from Microsoft.
