Ruckelhaus on Obama
Madrona Venture Group's William Ruckelshaus, the first administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, tells Grist that he does not expect to be offered a job in the Barack Obama administration. But the 76-year-old applauds the president-elect's environmental plans, noting that "we've got a new president who's obviously excited a lot of people in society." Troubled Bellevue online registration company Count Me In issued a formal statement Friday in which CEO Terry Drayton acknowledged the problems at the company, saying that: "I can understand our clients' frustration and anger. We made a host of mistakes and have put them in a difficult situation. Now I'm just asking them for the time to fix it."
