Titles for Nintendo's Wii and Microsoft's Xbox 360 dominated the list of top-selling video games in the U.S. for 2008, reflecting their positions as the No. 1 and No. 2 consoles on the market, according to annual data released today by the NPD Group market research firm.
Sony's PlayStation 3 had just one title in the top 10, the PS3 version of "Grand Theft Auto IV." That means some of its biggest titles, including "Metal Gear Solid 4" and "LittleBigPlanet," didn't make the list.
Here are the top-selling U.S. console games of 2008, listed by release date and units sold during the past year.
