Where has all the money gone? New list tracks Seattle VC deals |
Register here for our next TechFlash Live networking event, March 23, featuring an expert panel discussing the future of online advertising.
Kevin Foreman got tired of trying to track all of the recent venture capital deals in the Seattle area. So, the Bevy founder and former entrepreneur-in-residence at Madrona took matters into his own hands. The result of that brainstorm is a fantastic deal directory, compiled in part from information on TechFlash, Crunchbase and other sources.
Foreman said it took him about three hours to compile the blist, which includes 55 companies with their logos, venture backers and round size. So, what's next? Foreman said he's hopeful that people will add to the list over time in order to keep it fresh. I had been planning to create a similar list. But since Foreman beat me to the punch, I simply got his permission to publish his research here. If there's something missing, feel free to add to it.
