Fresh off its partnership with The Washington Post, the news discovery engine Evri has landed another major newspaper client. The Seattle startup is adding its content recommendation tool to the article pages from The Times of London.
Evri's Web site plug-in offers article recommendations to readers, showing additional news stories that may be of interest. For example, readers interested in Discovery Communications' lawsuit against Amazon.com's Kindle would receive additional links to stories about the litigation or the electronic book reader.
The Evri widget will begin appearing on The Times of London's Web site on article pages in the politics and arts & entertainment sections.
“Evri’s technology is a very compelling way for the Times to further engage with readers and help them deepen their understanding of the world, two objectives to which we are committed,” said George Brock, International Editor of the Times in a statement.
Led by former Amazon.com executive Neil Roseman, Evri is backed by Paul Allen's Vulcan Ventures. You can see it in action below.
