American Idol fans can now get the latest scoop on the iPhone. Seattle-based Zumobi -- working in partnership with FreemantleMedia, Fox and 19 Entertainment -- today announced a $1.99 app that allows fans of the reality TV show to peruse bios, pictures, news and videos of the 13 finalists.
The application also includes a game where users can decide which singers they think will get voted off the show each week as well as behind-the-scenes video from the contestants.
A spin-out from Microsoft Research, Zumobi has developed several iPhone applications over the past six months. Those include a ski and snow report created in conjunction with REI and the Ziibii news feed application.
