One of the biggest differences between Microsoft's Zune and Apple's iPod is the ability to get unlimited songs for Zune via a $15 monthly subscription service, not just by purchasing individual tracks or albums. But the Redmond company hasn't been very aggressive in touting that potential competitive advantage -- until now.
See the video below for a new advertisement for Microsoft's ZunePass, featuring radio host and certified financial planner Wes Moss, a former "Apprentice" contestant, touting the financial benefits. As noted by Emil Protalinski of Ars Technica, where we first saw the video, the low-price message is reminiscent of the strategy used in Microsoft's recent "Laptop Hunters" Windows ads.
