New blog: Puget Sound BizTalk |
Follow the ups and downs of a new Seattle startup in a series of behind-the-scenes posts by its founders.
We here at TechFlash are happy to report that we're no longer the oddballs in the Puget Sound Business Journal newsroom. Well, we're still pretty odd, but the PSBJ's staffers have launched their own blog, Puget Sound BizTalk, to supplement their breaking online news stories and coverage in the weekly print edition.
Turns out they're naturals at this blogging thing. Check out this post by reporter Greg Lamm on how the bankrupt Joe's Sports used a patio heater to settle a debt with the Kennewick Red Cross. Meanwhile, Clay Holtzman bursts the bubble of people who thought they were following Bill Gates on Twitter. And associate editor Steve Goldsmith goes straight for the link-bait with a post on supermodel Elle Macpherson, who apparently has developed an expertise in intellectual property.
If you're not familiar with their work, it's a fun introduction. And if you're a PSBJ reader, it's a new way to keep up between editions. Other contributors include reporters Deirdre Gregg, Kirsten Grind, Jeanne Lang Jones and Steve Wilhelm; associate editor Ben Miller; assistant managing editors Jennifer O'Brien and Becky Monk; managing editor Al Scott; and editor George Erb. Here's the RSS feed for subscribing.
TechFlash is a unit of the PSBJ, part of American City Business Journals.
