I Can Has Cheezburger's Scott Porad discussed "the lazy, messy, backwards way of starting up" in a chat tonight at Startpad.org in Seattle. Porad -- a startup veteran who previously worked at Starwave and drugstore.com -- said they did some things in an "unconventional" manner in the early days of the company. Tips below.
Porad on the importance of prioritizing in a startup: "Just put everything off as long as you reasonably can. Now, when you get the stuff done that you have to do, well then pick the first thing off the top of the list that you want to do and that will be good for your business."
And this one:
"Being busy does not equal being productive."
