Calbucci rolls out new Twitter app |

It is easy to find individuals to follow on Twitter. But what if you want to subscribe to the Twitter feeds of large groups of people -- say every U.S. Senator or all Twitter employees? That's where a new open source project from Seattle 2.0 founder Marcelo Calbucci comes in.
Dubbed TweepML, the new service allows people to follow the Twitter feeds of dozens or hundreds of people in a simple step. For example, you can follow the entire TechFlash team (all three of us, plus the main feed) with one click of a button.
"The most practical use will be Web sites that have multiple contributors, and instead of saying 'follow Jon,' 'follow Jane,' 'follow Peter,' they can say 'follow us' and with a single click the visitor can follow everyone," said Calbucci.
Web site operators also can post a widget on their sites to make it easier for users to quickly subscribe to Twitter feeds, kind of like a staff box at a newspaper.
At this point, Calbucci said TweepML is just a project that he built with help from Twitter masters Damon Cortesi and Adam Loving. And right now there's no real revenue model in place.
"I have some ideas, but I want to see what direction it takes and feedback we get before I make any decision," said Calbucci when asked about the revenue potential.
