Video: An inside look at DateCheck's mobile dating app
Earlier this week, we told you about the new iPhone application from Intelius called DateCheck, which allows people to check the "sleaze" factor of the people they are dating. Turns out the folks at DEMOfall -- where Intelius launched the app -- liked the idea since it was one of handful of presenting companies to win the prestigious DEMOgod award. The funny 5-minute pitch, which includes an awkward mock date, can be viewed here:
ReadWriteWeb takes issue with the DEMOgod award, however, noting that it is just a "front" for Intelius' paid service.
The top winner of the show was Emo Labs, maker of an audio speaker system. Emo won a $500,000 advertising campaign from IDG and the People's Choice Award.
