Introducing 'Entrepreneur Idol' |
Connect with TechFlash on our Facebook page for all the latest technology news headlines and commentary, plus information and access to special events, photos from events, promotions and more.
If you're a budding entrepreneur looking to tout a new business, we'd like to tell you about a fun little event taking place at the Northwest Entrepreneur Network's Entrepreneur University next month. It's called "Entrepreneur Idol." Essentially, it is a rapid-fire business competition where six entrepreneurs will have the chance to pitch their ideas -- in 60 seconds or less -- to a live audience and a panel of judges.
Want to make a pitch? Here's the deal. Just summarize your business idea in 140 characters or less and post to Twitter using the #EUidol hash tag. TechFlash editors will choose our five favorites, then put those up to a community vote.
The winner of the vote will not only get to make a live pitch at Entrepreneur University on Nov. 5, but he or she also will receive free admittance to the all-day event.
Separately, NWEN representatives plan to pick their five favorite Tweets from Entrepreneur University attendees, with each getting to make a 60-second pitch at the big event.
Deadline for the TechFlash submissions is next Friday, October 30 at noon. So, it is time to start Tweeting those business ideas.
And remember, have fun.
