Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer, in New York City for the Windows 7 launch, was on the Today show this morning to tout the new operating system and some of the new computers that will come with it. Matt Lauer also asked Ballmer about Apple and posed a PC-vs.-iPhone question very similar to the one we were debating yesterday.

Ballmer is set to start speaking at 8 a.m. Pacific time at the Windows 7 launch event, and the live webcast is available here. I was also in Redmond this morning, at the Windows HQ, for an early morning event marking the launch of the new operating system, and I'll be posting video of that shortly.
