Screenlife today introduced a new movie trivia game for the iPhone based on its popular DVD game Scene It?
The 99 cent app -- dubbed Scene It? Movies -- allows players to participate in Hollywood puzzles and mini games. The new app comes just two months after the company -- which was purchased by Paramount last year -- introduced a new Web site where players can participate in movie trivia.
The new app also comes a couple months after competitor Exponential Entertainment -- founded by former Screenlife executives Dave Long and Bill Kuper -- unveiled its own trivia app for the iPhone.
Exponential's 99 cent app -- dubbed Ask the Stars -- allows players to ask yes or no questions and receive answers from Hollywood stars from clips in popular movies such as The Princess Bride and Silence of the Lambs.
In addition to the new Scene It? app, Screenlife also recently partnered with RealNetworks on a new iPhone app based around the Twilight movie. That app also costs 99 cents, incorporating puzzles and quizzes from the hit movie franchise.
