Want a date with a sexy lady at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas next month? Bellevue-based Intelius is looking for you.
In a promotion of its Date Check iPhone application, the Bellevue company announced today that it plans to host a "Dating Game" in which nine single guys (that shouldn't be hard to find in the halls of CES) vie for the heart of one lucky (or unlucky) bachelorette. The competition will take place live on stage at CES, with the winners receiving a lunch date with the woman and tickets to a Las Vegas show.
The other catch? Bachelors must submit their information to the Intelius Date Check, which is designed to uncover details such as a person's criminal history (that could be embarrassing) or the value of one's home. In fact, Date Check's Sleaze Detector -- which costs $19.95 for a criminal check -- is specifically designed to make sure that men and women don't make mistakes when they are on the dating circuit.
We have an email into Intelius to find out who the men will be competing for at CES. The company is promising someone of pretty high standards given that Katie -- see photo right -- will be hosting the festivities.
Bachelors can sign up for the promotion here. CES runs from January 7 to 10.
Intelius introduced Date Check at the DEMO conference last September. You can watch the video pitch below, which includes a mock date.
