With Apple's rumored multimedia tablet device moving closer to market, some of the big college textbook publishers are already giddy with the possibilities of such a device. CourseSmart, a digital textbook company founded by publishers Pearson, Cengage Learning, Wiley, and McGraw-Hill Education, released a video showing how such a tablet could function as a digital "backback" for students, holding textbooks, notes, video lectures, etc. Amazon is trying to interest those same textbook publishers in its Kindle readers.
