Today's your last chance to sign up for the first TechFlash Live event of 2010, taking place Tuesday March 23 at the Showbox Sodo. We've got a fantastic panel on hand to discuss how to make money online and the future of advertising. If that's not enough to whet your appetite, we're also rolling in some ping pong tables so folks can warm-up, scout the competition and challenge your tech rivals in advance of the big TechFlash pong tourney later this summer.
Registration will close later this afternoon. So if you haven't signed up yet, now is the time to pull the trigger. Tickets here.
For those already attending, here are some of the key logistics. We'll open the doors a little after 4 p.m. for the ping pong festivities. There are no NCAA basketball games on Tuesday, so here's your big chance to get the competitive juices flowing with our own version of March Madness.
(And just for the record, we're placing bets right now that we can take down any of the venture capitalists in the crowd. And that includes Madrona's Greg Gottesman who we've heard has been secretly training like Rocky Balboa).
At 5 p.m., the networking portion of the evening will start, followed by the panel discussion at 6:30.
We've got an all-star line-up of speakers that includes Aaron Finn, founder and chairman, AdReady; Jeff Lanctot, managing director of advertiser and publisher solutions, Microsoft and former chief strategy officer, Razorfish; Brian McAndrews, managing director, Madrona Venture Group, and former CEO, aQuantive; Charlie Tillinghast, president, msnbc.com.
After the panel, we'll be hanging around for a little more ping pong and networking. We're really looking forward to seeing everyone on March 23.
Thanks again to our sponsors for this event: BDO, Marchex, and Seattle University Master of Software Engineering.
