Sure, you've got a plan for a tech startup. You're going to revolutionize the world, and make billions in the process. Join the club. Thousands of people are thinking the same thing. Ideas are cheap. The real challenge is crafting a 15-page business plan and convincing some banker or venture capitalist to fund your big idea.
Or is it? At our next TechFlash Live event, June 15, we'll examine that conventional wisdom -- exploring the creative ways people are building businesses in 2010, and looking ahead to how new generations of entrepreneurs will shape the groundbreaking ventures of the future. Tickets available for purchase here.
This town hall summit will bring together some of the region’s leading entrepreneurs, angel investors and venture capitalists to debate the pros and cons of outside capital and explore the future of funding in the startup sector.
This will be an interactive discussion with heavy audience participation, and practical insights into the world of startup funding, plus a networking reception where you'll be able to meet and mingle with some of the key players in the Seattle technology and startup community.
The event will be held Tuesday, June 15 from 5 p.m. to 8:30 p.m at Seattle University's Paccar Atrium & Pigott Auditorium, 1016 E. Marion St., Seattle. Thanks to our sponsors, BDO, KeyBank, and Seattle University's Master of Software Engineering program, for making this event possible.
Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
