Here's the latest look at some of the Form D filings from Washington companies submitted to the SEC in recent weeks. In most cases, these are links to the raw filings, and as the SEC notes it has not been determined if they are accurate or complete. Nonetheless, there are some interesting companies in this latest batch as you'll see below.
Tango Card said it raised $452,000 of a $2 million round. The company -- which has created a service to help consumers manage gift cards -- was founded by former FiberTower executive David Leeds. Tango Card's advisory board includes Tod Leiweke of the Seattle Seahawks and former Coinstar CEO Dan Gerrity.
Uptake Medical, a Seattle medical device company developing catheters for the treatment of emphysema and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, said it has raised $600,000. The company raised $3.3 million of a $13 million round last fall.
EnRoute Systems said it raised $535,000 of a $1.69 million round. The Bellevue company, which has developed a service to help retailers and other small businesses more efficiently ship packages, closed an oversubscribed $810,000 series A financing round from Keiretsu Forum and Zino Society last fall. EnRoute is led by Azaleos founder Keith McCall.
Physiosonics of Bellevue said it raised $750,000 of a $1 million round through a convertible promissory note. The University of Washington spin out, led by Brad Harlow, is developing an ultrasound device to monitor blood flow in the brain. The 10-year-old company previously raised cash last year, and its investors include Johnson & Johnson Development Corp.
InternMatch, a Seattle online service that matches companies with interns, said it is looking to raise $300,000. InternMatch co-founder Andrew Maguire pitched the startup at a recent TechCafe event (formerly Lunch 2.0) in Seattle, and we were there to capture some video.
Prepared Response said it raised $125,000 of a $600,000 debt round. Here's more on the company, which is digitizing school maps and other building plans for better preparation in case of disasters, from our story last summer after it raised $5 million of an $8 million round.
Scayl, a Woodland, Washington company led by Bill Kallman, said it has raised $50,000 of a $200,000 debt offering. Scayl is working on a peer-to-peer email system, with The Oregonian reporting in 2008 that the software sends messages without going through a central server.
Centri Technology has raised $325,00 of a $1 million round, according to a SEC filing. Centri is led by mForce Mobile founder Vaughan Emery, and its board includes Dan Rosen and Eric Kolstad. The company says it can increase mobile and broadband network data speeds by two to three times.
SafeTec Compliance Systems of Vancouver, Washington said it raised $315,000 of $1.5 million. Founded in 1995, Safetec describes itself as a Software as a Service company for material safety data sheets.
