I always give John a hard time about using Twitter.com to post and track tweets rather than a fancy multi-threaded client. But based on the announcements coming out of Twitter HQ today, I'll be giving the Twitter home page another look. The site is being redesigned with a dual-column look, in-line photos and videos, and other changes.
It's still rolling out, but here's a video providing a glimpse.
Like any technology platform, Twitter will need to strike a balance as it evolves, improving its core site without drawing too much attention from the services that tap into its APIs. So it's interesting to see the changes they're making here -- not overwhelming, but interesting.
