There's certainly no shortage of competition in the online job and recruiting space. But Mei Lu -- a former tech recruiter and software developer who previously worked at Qpass, Manugistics and SoftMed -- thinks she's come up with a better service with Jobfully. We chatted with the Redmond mom who holds a masters in engineering from Carneige Mellon University for the latest installment of Startup of the Week.

What’s your elevator pitch... Jobfully’s solution helps job seekers find a job faster and easier in today’s tough market.

We came up with the idea for the startup... As a recruiter, I had job seekers constantly asking me for advice on how to find work. I started puzzling over a scalable solution that would give them great information, tools and support for job search success.

The word that best describes our company culture is... Experiment, experiment, experiment.

We are different from the competition because... We’re not a job board! We don’t write your resume for you. We’re not a high priced career coach. We “teach you how to fish”, so to speak. The one thing missing from our business is... Office space, office politics and an office pet.
