Here's the latest look at some of the Form D filings from Washington companies submitted to the SEC in recent weeks. In most cases, these are links to the raw filings, and as the SEC notes it has not been determined if they are accurate or complete. Nonetheless, there are some interesting companies in this latest batch as you'll see below.
Antimicrobial Technologies Group of Bellevue raised $1 million of a $2 million round. The company says it is working on technologies that provide infection control and odor protection for uses in plastics, paints and apparel.
WebTuner, a Kirkland startup led by former InfoSpace executive Bernee Strom, has raised $2.3 million of a $4 million round. We first wrote about the stealthy company last August, at which time executive Arthur Vaysman said more details would be coming later this year or early next year.
Unsocial Inc., a Kirkland mobile app startup that helps people connect with business contacts at events and other locations, raised $50,000 of a $300,000 round. Listed as executives are Santosh Khare, K.V. Ramatathan, Kirin Modak and Justin Richardson. Founded in 2009, the Seattle company launched at DiscoveryBeat conference last month. VentureBeat reported earlier this month that former Vertel and Efficient Networks CEO Bruce Brown recently took over the CEO post at the mobile app maker.
Valant Medical Systems has raised $285,000 of a $1 million round, according to a filing. The Seattle company, led by David Lischner, has developed a Web-based electronic medical record service specifically for psychiatrists and mental health professionals.
Prometheus Energy, which has developed technologies to convert methane gases into liquid natural gas, has raised $2.5 million of a $7 million round. The Redmond company is now led by Ron Bertasi, who replaced founder Kirt Montague as CEO in October. Bertasi is the former CEO of Mack Creek Energy and Southern Company Energy Solutions.
DennyHill/PhotoRocket LLC raised $587,000. The LLC appears to be connected to PhotoRocket, the Seattle startup which unveiled its photo sharing service earlier this year. Listed as an executive is Jan Hendrickson, a general partner at Seattle angel investment firm Denny Hill Capital. PhotoRocket, which is led by Scott Lipsky and Gary Roshak, just this week said it raised $1.3 million, according to a separate filing.

Viable Technologies, a company led by Joseph Snell and Andrew Pope, has raised $200, according to a filing. Little is known about the company and a Web site could not be found.
InternMatch, a Seattle startup that matches interns with companies, said it has raised $25,000 of a $50,000 debut round. You can watch CEO Andrew Maguire's pitch at the TechCafe (formerly Seattle 2.0) lunch from last May. The company recently moved to the Bay Area to participate in the 500 Startups' incubation program.
Human Energetic Systems, an Edmonds company led by Derek Platt, is looking to raise $250,000. More on the company's acupuncture and healing system here.
Metajure, a Seattle company working on an online service for the legal field, has raised $1.3 million. The company is led by Rich Corbett, founder of Applied Discovery, Kisten Lemke, a former Starbucks vice president, and Dennis Adler, a former Microsoftie. Applied Discovery was sold to LexisNexis for $95 million in 2003.
Empowering Engineering Technologies, a University of Washington spin-out which is developing a medical device to help people with disabilties walk, has raised $312,371. The company is led Brian Glaister, and presented at this year's UW Business plan competition.
Billing Revolution has raised $375,000 in debt financing as part of a $600,000 round, according to a filing. Listed as directors are angel investor Dan Rosen and SK Telecom Ventures Robert Trice. The mobile billing startup, which is led by former WeddingChannel.com and AT&T Wireless exec Andy Kleitsch, was in the news this week when Citi Group agreed to sponsor the company's Single-Click Checkout Android app. That app is set to debut later this month.
Health Unity said it has raised $960,000 of a $3 million round. The 6-year-old Bellevue company, led by former Microsoft group manager Prem Urali, is building integrated exchanges for health information and records.
MediQuest Holdings of Bothell has raised $3 million of $6 million round. The entity is affiliated with MediQuest Therapeutics, a life sciences company led by Fred Dechow.
Torrent Technologies, which provides claims processing services to insurance companies that participate in the National Flood Insurance Program, has raised $7.5 million of a $11 million round. We previously wrote about an investment in the company from private equity firm Century Capital Management last month, but at the time the size of the financing was not disclosed. Torrent is led by Travis Pine, who previously served as vice president of technology at Fiserv's NFS subsidiary and chief information officer at HitHive.
Sports Press Northwest, a yet-to-launch online sports publication led by former Seattle P-I employees Art Thiel and Steve Rudman, has raised $45,000 of a $200,000 debt round.
Point Inside, which is developing technologies to map airports and shopping malls, raised $575,000, according to a filing. The Seattle company recently promoted Josh Marti to the position of CEO, replacing Kevin Foreman. More on the company's technology here.
Shingl of Kirkland said it is looking to raise $1.25 million. The company lists Eric Voskuil, a former Microsoftie who previously served as CTO of BeyondTrust, Stuart Schaefer and Steve Bell as executives.
5to1.com, the Seattle online advertising company led by former Rivals.com CEO Jim Heckman, has raised a $600,000 debut round. Here's more on what Heckman and crew are building, and here's a link to their Web site.
Rainier Software, the online registration service for sports leagues and other organizations, has raised $200,000 of a $500,000 round. The Bellevue company is led by Terry Drayton, the former HomeGrocer.com CEO who prevailed in an asset purchase of embattled Count Me In last year.
Primus International Holdings, a maker of composite parts for the aerospace industry, has raised $1.5 million. The Bellevue company is backed by Oak Hill Capital, and its directors include Gerry Grinstein of Madrona Venture Group.
