Earlier today, the Northwest Energy Angels -- an angel investment group with nearly 50 members -- announced that its members pumped more than $1.3 million into 11 deals last year. That's a drop in the bucket, considering that VCs invested some $3.7 billion in 267 national clean tech deals last year. (A 76 percent increase in investment dollars when compared to 2009 levels.).
