Sitting in court this week for a hearing in Microsoft's lawsuit against a former general manager hired by Salesforce.com, I listened to lawyers and the judge quoting from a standard Microsoft employment agreement. And suddenly it dawned on me that, in all my years covering the company, I had never actually seen one.
Of course, as the central document at issue in the case, it's part of the public record -- Exhibit A, in fact. This will be familiar to people who work or have worked at the company, but for anyone else who might be interested, here it is, for the record.
