Microsoft’s Bing search engine saw a slight gain in search market share in April, but not enough to move ahead of Yahoo or gain much ground on search champ Google.
Google had 65.4 percent of the U.S. search market in April, according to comScore. Yahoo had 15.9 percent (up 0.2 percent). Bing had 14.1 percent (also up 0.2 percent).
Google lost 0.3 percent of the search market in April, according to the report.
The April comScore report reflects the impact of Yahoo Search Direct, a new feature that delivers real-time search results while users type in queries.
