Ignition Partners has joined a group of investors to funnel $1 million into a social gaming startup that's headed by 19-year-old Joshua Buckley.

MinoMonsters is a battle and trading game for the iPhone and iPod Touch that "recaptures the magic of Pokemon on the iPhone," according to the company.
Joshua Buckley, the 19-year-old CEO of social gaming startup MinoMonsters.
Buckley is the youngest entrepreneur to ever secure funding from Andreessen Horowitz, which joined Ignition, SV Angel, General Catalyst, Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian and others in the round.
MinoMonsters also announced it added TJ Murphy, a former product manager with Zynga, as co-founder and president. Murphy will lead game development and technology strategy.
"The combination of funding from Andreessen Horowitz, SV Angel and our group of investors, along with the hiring of TJ Murphy, positions MinoMonsters for great future success," said Buckley in a release.
Ignition has had a busy week in California, leading rounds in Parse, a startup that develops back-end platforms for developers creating iOS and Android apps, and Cloudera, which provides Apache Hadoop-based data management software and services.
