Looking to play basketball? InfiniteHoops has your game.
The Seattle company that runs social sports websites is rolling out its iPhone app that can help a basketball player find a pickup game.
Founder Tosh Meston says InfiniteHoops GPS “lets you find recurring pickup games, mark your game status as In, Out or Undecided, join groups, even talk trash,” in an email announcing the new app.
InfiniteHoops has attracted 24,000 users and 7,000 groups. A total of 91,000 games have been scheduled.
Meston is a former Microsoft engineer on Outlook Web Access and an ex-Myspace manager on the Myspace Developer Platform.
InfiniteHoops is one of several of Meston’s sites for pickup sports games run by InfiniteSports LLC. Other sites include InfiniteSoftball, InfiniteFootball and InfiniteHockey.
