Ignition Ventures Managing Partner John Connors, the former CFO of Microsoft, has joined the board of AppSense, a New York-based software company focused on user virtualization technology
On the AppSense board, Connors joins AppSense founder Charles Sharland, AppSense CEO Darron Antill, as well as Pete Perrone, managing director at Goldman Sachs, who joined the board with the $70 million investment Goldman made in the company in early 2011.
“John is a trusted expert in the software industry and has an impressive track record of identifying companies with game-changing solutions that significantly impact the way people interact with technology,” Sharland said. “John’s experience and vision in this space will be a great addition to our board.”
In November, Connors joined the board of San Francisco startup Parse after Ignition Partners led a $5.5 million funding round.
