I'm not sure that Rudy the "Social Media Guru" is going to bait Zillow into officially responding to this one.

Increasing CPM, UUs, and owning SEO is the name of the game - not picking fights on your corporate blog near the holidays to pick up cheap, non-converting traffic from TechCrunch and Valleywag.

HomeGain noticed a little idea borrowing by zillow when they first launched their instant home values tool, and when they launched zillow mortgage market place.

They're not exactly "our own numbers" that we release. We use Omniture for our site analytics, and it's Omniture that is the source for our traffic data. Because it measures the number of people who ACTUALLY visit our website, it's much more accurate than any source which uses a panel measurement system (e.g., Comscore, Nielsen, Compete, Quantcast, Alexa, Hitwise etc.)
